REDSHIFT

Expanding the Future

Something new is being built on the Gulf Coast. Quietly. Deliberately. From the ground up. Redshift USA is an aerospace company developing the systems that make every mission more reliable, every orbit more precise, and every launch more capable.

Our Mission

Built Where
Space Begins

The Gulf Coast has been the backbone of American spaceflight for six decades — from Apollo to Artemis. Redshift USA was founded here because we believe the next chapter of commercial space will be written here too. We build hardware and intelligent systems that fill the gaps no one else is addressing, for missions that cannot afford to fail.

01
Redundancy by default
Every Redshift system is designed with dual-redundant architecture. No single point of failure. No silent errors. Aerospace-grade reliability in every product we ship.
02
Complement the ecosystem
We build what the industry needs and doesn't yet have — payload integration intelligence and commercial space infrastructure. Partners to the mission, not rivals.
03
Gulf Coast rooted
Proximity to America's largest rocket propulsion test site and the Gulf Coast's deep aerospace talent pool gives Redshift an edge no coastal startup can replicate.
04
Hardware meets software
Intelligent systems that fuse real-time sensor data with controls logic — hardware you can hold, software you can trust, data you can act on during every phase of the mission.

Programs

What We're
Building

Two programs spanning payload monitoring systems and space infrastructure. Each designed to solve a real problem the industry has not yet solved — making every mission that uses our systems more reliable and successful.

In Development Program 01 · Hardware
PHM-1

Dual-redundant payload health monitor. Attaches to any CubeSat or smallsat during integration — monitoring vibration, shock, temperature, humidity, and power health in real time across two fully independent channels.

ROP-1

Redshift Orbital Platform. A modular, expandable private space station architecture — lower risk than single large-station approaches, scalable from a single pressurized core to a full research and manufacturing platform.

Payload
Health Monitor

The first Redshift product. Two independent processors. Two independent sensor sets. Neither channel can silently pass corrupted data — they cross-validate every reading, every second, from power-on to liftoff.

Dual-redundant channels
Two independent MCUs run in parallel. Channel B monitors Channel A — silent for 500ms triggers automatic failover. No single hardware failure loses your data.
Real-time fault detection
Seven fault codes covering sensor divergence, channel timeout, and storage failure. Configurable thresholds. Alerts fire before problems become mission failures.
Three-layer data logging
USB wired stream, WiFi live dashboard, and two independent SD cards. Data is lost only if all four paths fail simultaneously — a four-fault scenario.
Python live dashboard
FastAPI WebSocket backend streams 10Hz sensor data to a configurable browser dashboard. Exportable CSV logs. Runs on any laptop, no special software required.

Roadmap

The
Path Forward

From first product to orbital infrastructure. A phased approach that builds revenue, credibility, and capability at every step before committing to the next.

Phase 1 · 2025
PHM-1 prototype & first customers
Build and validate the dual-redundant payload health monitor. Secure first paying customers from university CubeSat programs and commercial smallsat operators. Apply for NASA SBIR Phase I.
Phase 2 · 2026
SBIR funding & Gulf Coast facility
Receive NASA SBIR award. Establish commercial presence at Stennis Space Center. Begin propulsion and orbital systems research. Grow team to 4–6 people.
Phase 3 · 2027
Demo flight & Series A
Fly first payload using Redshift integration hardware on a commercial rideshare mission. Raise Series A. Formalize commercial test services at Stennis Space Center.
Phase 4 · 2028–2030
Orbital operations & station deployment
ROP-1 first module launch. Gulf Coast Integration & Test Center fully operational. $10M+ ARR target.
Phase 5 · 2030+
Full-scale space infrastructure
Multi-module orbital platform. Redshift established as the Gulf Coast's anchor private aerospace company and preferred commercial integration partner.
